I wish.. I think.. I do.. and Yes I can

We already knew that Petroleum Industry is about explorations, exploitation, and distribution the product of its industry. Petroleum Industry includes in Indonesia concern to produces and looks for oil and gasoline. We have to realize that in Indonesia we use this product excessively. Sooner or later we will see that we have nothing under this surface to fulfill our life. Now I still student, any plans and hopes which I want achieved. Like my prospective after finish my study, I would like to be the one of petroleum industry’s employer. Now we see there was contradiction between production and consumption. We spend a lot of fuel in other side, we’ve it is not enough for us until the end of day. And then we would see we have nothing, we are without modern tools. Perhaps it will be reduce by subsidy. But, I don’t think so. Let’s see. Better to know it first than just waiting for the result until final.

 

Indonesia is the most importer oil now. As a geologist, geophysicist or so on, we know that Indonesia just want to get oil again and again, but we never make one way conservative or something like that. The problem is controlling the oil demand In Indonesia. Some peoples who live in Indonesia are such an addict with oil. In our mindset (because I also Indonesian people) always thinking that we cannot survive without this one; oil. First, depend on me, to control every single people demands of oil; we used to give explanation about how difficult oil can be found by petroleum engineer. How to make every single people aware with his/her demand if they didn’t know anything about what is the oil, when does we get it, where’s the source, who’s people which can explore, exploit, produce, and distribute it. They have to know that it’s not easy to petroleum engineers for finding it.  They used to know that their demand is not equal with how difficult to get the oil. Any innovations can be created by us, who are the young generation. I have to understand about some methods.

I know for contributing something in oil and gas industry we have to know about how does oil and gas industry work. Don't know anything is not helping us to be aware to contribute something. Know nothing is similar with do nothing. First, as a student of geophysics I used to study hard, learn hard about those methods; start to open my mind about any new simple ways to acquisition and understanding these methods. Nowadays, paper is the one of solutions that can give us spirit for learning about any parts of our knowledge. Start for the simple one. I have to develop my read and write ability. Sometimes without practice we do not know about the truth and the wrong. If we just achieve all things by our lecturer without try for finding others by ourselves it is also nothing. One principle thing that I have to do is understanding my skill, aware my ability focuses to those, develops those and makes it special. I still try to make it comes true, after this I will contribute my knowledge in oil and gas industry. Now I just participated any events that created by oil and gas industry. I also be Board of SPE-SC UGM, I think it is also one-way solution to give participation in oil and gas industry. By this organization I know about anything which I do not understand before. By this organization I can understand (still a little) about how does oil and gas industry work about upstream, midstream and downstream. If I could know it well, I can make others understand to reduce their demand of oil and gas.

I am the student who has any dreams, any goals. I such a geophysicist want to be. I know, now I am studying about the basic methods, but I am sure that 5 years ahead I could be junior geophysicist. For acquisition I could do, also for processing. I studied it because I feel it is also important if I would be a geophysicist. I prefer seismic and electromagnetic to be my major. So, it is the biggest dream for being geophysicist who’s special in seismic.  It means that I already 25 years old 5 years ahead. Like my dreams, I have to go around the world for study. Study is not about lecturer but also observation or such an annual meeting. And I hope at least 10 years I work in oil and gas industry I could be senior geophysicist. After this I want to dedicate my knowledge for education. I would like to be a lecture after 40 years old. Second choice, I would like to be ESDM ministry. There was nothing impossible if we do it by our best.

If I have authorities for speaking about oil and gas perhaps I have easy way to reduce oil and gas subsidy. But not for now, Nowadays, for reducing oil and gas subsidy is difficult. There is too much fence for doing that. We absolutely know that our nation now is standing in the bottom level of economics. There is too much poverty around us. But also there were too much misunderstanding about subsidy around us. Misunderstanding is because we don’t know about who is get those subsidy. So underline bread just get the minimum fuel than others people who has high economic level. To establish awareness between us, it need time to explain and make them understand about oil and gas resources. How we can get those resources. They (Indonesian people) have to know about how important we safe our resources. Once again there is nothing impossible if we do struggle for getting the best result of our purpose. That was our duty as an understand people to establish their awareness to reduce their demand, after this it would be something easy to reduce subsidy in our nation. To make every single people understand is also depend of our nation basic education. But education is also expensive now. I think I prefer to give that subsidy for education in order that they (misunderstanding peoples) understand about how important to safe our fuel. How important we didn’t use that subsidy wisely. Because government always says that subsidy is just for underline breads, but in fact, rich people use that chance unwisely, it just because our government has no firmness. There too much individual. One way solution by me is making them understand, aware, and asking them for participating our way to get that solution. I am sure, we could do this. Check our system; check our education and everything will work as well as possible.
